Get Connected!

My days are filled with excitement as I take on my new role as an entrepreneur.  How great it is to meet a client over a latte while discussing their business needs and how I may be of service!  I love meeting new people, making new connections, and seeing so many opportunities.
I love what Jeffrey Gitomer says in Little Black Book of Connections- "The more people are attracted to you, the more solid connections you'll make."  How true this is!  Get out there, be Authentic and true to yourself and make those connections.  I personally strive to make others successful and this in turn makes me successful and forms a great connection!  If you already have a connection, then stay in contact, do something unique and meaningful for them such as bringing in bagels or donuts one morning.  Your team will love you for it!

Being Excellent is up to YOU!

When we discover our calling in life, we get passionate about it and it's that passion that makes us strive to be excellent at what we do.  Excellence doesn't just happen, it requires working with intention, purpose, and a positive attitude!  
I don't think we will ever have just one calling either.  For me, I'm a Mom, Wife, Daughter, Christian, and entrepreneur.  I am passionately excited about all of these roles and embrace them with excitement!  I pray that you will find excitement in your life and work as well!

Purpose and Passion

So many of us, including myself, have often wondered what our purpose is. I have come to realize that we make this much more complicated than it really is. Actually, it is rather simple. I believe that we are ALL here to love one another and to serve. GOD gave all of us unique qualities and talents to use in serving. Just listen to your heart and focus on what it is that you love to do. It may be the same thing that you loved doing when you were 10 years old, before you started listening to the worlds negativity and opinions. Your desire to serve, love, and make a difference should be greater than your desire for money. When it is, you will find an abundance and be successful. So, start today with asking how you may be a blessing to someone else!
